A few xmas pics

We opened Christmas gifts this morning. For the last few years we have pretended Xmas eve is Xmas day, so that we have a day to recuperate before Steve goes back to work! Karin made Katie the most amazing little jacket out of left over “Katherine” fabric. Karin takes home a lot of our fabric scraps that we don’t have a use for. She makes bags, clothing, and … jackets!

We went to see Santa today, it is the first time that Katie has understood what was going on. She asked Santa for a “Bebe”, and Nicholas asked for a Dry erase “white board” :). Apparently his class has been using them at school for math. At home, he has a list of a million and one things that he has said he wanted for Christmas, but that is all he could think of when he was with Santa

When we left the mall, it was snowing! It usually just snows once a year here, so it was very good timing. It felt very Christmas-y.

Sara had a minor surgical procedure today..Some orders may be delayed a day, but there shouldn’t be any major delays. Thanks for your patience!

What a big boy!

We are still adjusting to being home. We had to go 2 hours forward last Wednesday when we went to Cancun. Then one hour back on Sunday for Mexico day light savings time, then 1 hour forward when we landed in Houston on Wednesday, 2 hours back yesterday when we came home to Seattle…then we will go another hour back when the US has daylight savings time this weekend. Katie is not sleeping well at ALL…
