There’s something hot about babywearing daddies

This photo was sent to us with the comment “my lil’ Slingling”. I feel like we invented a word! I love how content the baby looks.

Carol delivered a few custom slings today, as well as a load of black padded twill slings to tide us over until her usual delivery next Thursday. Some of the custom slings that were ordered last week were shipped today, almost a week early!

We try to keep black and khaki baby slings in stock at all times, in all sizes, both with and without padding. Khaki and black are by far our best sellers. Carol is so great about checking our inventory and delivering exactly what we need. Yay Carol!

Our part time seamstress Kristen drops off slings every week or two, usually on Friday mornings. She makes only unpadded slings and most of our doll slings, usually just one fabric a week. Today she delivered more pink/green paisley unpadded, and next week she will have khaki unpadded, camo unpadded, and blue arcadia doll slings.

As any textile manufacturer, we have a lot of fabric scraps. We try to minimize it as much as possible, but some waste is inevitable. It is sometimes a struggle to find a home for our leftovers. Much of our leftover fabric goes home with our seamstresses. One of our sewers makes fabric shopping bags:

We work from our home in NE Seattle and meet with customers by
appointment. My preferred hours to meet with customers are Monday - Friday 10 am to 3 pm.
